Building Snorkel Flow requires outstanding engineers and technologies across the stack, including scalable data pipelines, elegant and intuitive interfaces (both visual and programmatic), state-of-the-art ML modeling techniques, and best practices for seamless deployment. Modern AI approaches require large labeled training datasets to learn from. While traditional approaches typically rely on armies of human annotators to label by hand, Snorkel Flow empowers users to programmatically label and build training data sets to drive a radically faster, more flexible, and higher quality end-to-end AI development process. Snorkel Flow is an end-to-end development platform, complete with a GUI and powerful programmatic interfaces for driving the development process for full AI application workflows: from preprocessing, to programmatic training data creation, to ML model training, to analysis, and deployment. It's the data-first platform for enterprise AI.

About the Role

As a Senior Manager on Snorkel AI’s product marketing team, you’ll define the core value and differentiated capabilities of the Snorkel Flow platform. You’ll bring this to life with thoughtful positioning and messaging strategy. You’ll become an authority in what matters most to machine learning practitioners at leading enterprises. 

You’ll use your product expertise and customer empathy to create precise, compelling thought leadership across channels, and to equip our sales teams with training and collateral to succeed at every step of the sales cycle.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners across the organization, providing ample opportunity to exchange expertise with some of the most thoughtful minds in machine learning. You’ll collaborate with leaders of Product, Sales, Machine Learning Solutions Engineers, and more. You’ll continuously gather diverse input and build consensus in what is a relatively nascent (and therefore ever-evolving) category. 

Snorkel AI is an early stage company; you’ll partner with the Head of Product Marketing and VP of Marketing to craft the team’s future. Your curiosity, tenacity, and technical aptitude will make an early and profound impact against not only the product marketing team, but the mission of our company.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the core value and differentiated capabilities of the Snorkel Flow platform
• Partner closely with the Engineering and Product team to launch new capabilities and increase platform adoption
• Partner with the Sales, Solution Engineering, and post-sales teams to scope and deliver high-impact enablement packages
• Develop insights through primary and secondary research to inform company-wide product, persona, and competitor decisions

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated ability in product marketing or product management or adjacent fields
• Experience anchoring marketing strategy to persona insights
• Proven ability to develop deep product knowledge
• Direct AI/ML experience OR demonstrated personal interest in the space
• Highly capable explaining technical concepts including  integrations, architecture, and services
• Experience at one or more companies with sales-led Enterprise go-to-market strategy; proven as a close partner to field teams

Preferred Qualifications

• You have a strong grasp of positioning and messaging fundamentals
• You confidently curate and synthesize secondary research
• You take pride in storytelling across channels/media, both internally and externally
• You create competitive positioning teardowns that surface best angles for differentiation
• You’re comfortable with assignments whether they need to be delivered quickly or they demand a more methodical and collaborative approach
