THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Technology and Product Team in São Paulo! This role will be part of our Web Experience squad, dedicated to evolving and optimizing  website design and performance.

The candidate will provide exceptional execution of deliverables including user flows, product maps, wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes. They are comfortable with an agile approach to design, with an emphasis on user testing and rapid iteration in an incredibly collaborative environment. 

YOUR IMPACT

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Gympass’ existing UX across platforms and devices and ensure any future iterations are executed with reverence for a cohesive experience;
  • Design, execute and utilize user experience tests and research to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences;
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to cross-functional business teams and senior management;
  • Develop detailed user flows, site maps, wireframes, and other UX deliverables to communicate user flow and interaction clearly to relevant teams;
  • Quickly iterate on designs based on feedback from peers, learnings found in user testing/feature response, and experimentation results;
  • Lead UX discoveries and correctly apply usability tests;
  • Be able to understand and use research studies with inputs from data science, experimentation results, surveys, market research, marketing, and product data;
  • Work with the growth marketing team to turn user insights into actionable recommendations and drive website and marketing design decisions;
  • Build a research roadmap compatible to the product design team objectives;
  • Build an innovative research program with new methods, process and workflow;
  • Take care of multiple research questions at the same time with a guided roadmap and leadership support.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Solid experience of successful and professional design research planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting on user studies for discovery and evaluation with strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods;
  • Prior experience working specifically on website UX design, with solid understanding of mobile-first principles;
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or related field or equivalent practical experience;
  • Advanced/Professional level of English (english is our main language in the company! All the research findings and reports are necessarily delivered in english, you’ll conduct research with foreigner users all the time);
  • Familiarity testing with prototypes (rough drafts and sketches, paper prototypes, working prototypes) and live builds, from recruitment participants to analysing results to share with the team;
  • Understanding of experimentation design and principles;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidences;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects with limited oversight;
  • Experience working within a global team is a huge plus
