Articulate is seeking a Senior UX Writer II to help focus and shape our Localization efforts! Articulate is the leading SaaS provider of online training solutions for the new world of work. Our industry-leading course creation platform makes it easy for organizations to build engaging, custom content to effectively onboard new hires, stay compliant, upskill employees, and more.
As a Sr UX Writer II, you’ll combine your expertise with empathy to write product copy that eliminates ambiguity, sparks creativity, and simplifies the course creation experience. You’ll think in terms of flows and interactions, and ensure that language functions as a system that embodies our brand while adapting to meet users where they are.
The ideal candidate has a knack for transforming complex inputs into simple, intuitive outputs. You have experience writing for global audiences, are fluent in content localization and accessibility best practices, and a passion for keeping up with emerging UX trends. Your portfolio should demonstrate your talent for working with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers on thoughtful solutions to complex creative projects. You’re strategic, creative, adaptable, a self-starter, a strong communicator, and a proactive team player.
What You'll Do:
- UX Writing
- Write, test, and iterate clear and concise UI content for our e-learning localization product experiences
- Drive consistency in new and existing interaction patterns
- Serve as a thought leader in UX writing, contributing to the development of best practices and advocating for a user-first approach across teams
- Document and maintain the styles and standards for UX writing across all products
- Manage projects from needs assessment to implementation
- Conduct audits, identify patterns, and lead brainstorming sessions to design the best user experiences and identify areas for optimization
- Design Thinking
- Ensure strategic alignment of UX writing discipline with Articulate’s product principles and brand voice
- Develop scalable frameworks that align with global user needs and business goals
- Leverage user research, A/B testing, and performance analytics to refine UX copy and optimize user interactions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with researchers, product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to establish conversational, cohesive experiences with a unified voice
- Communicate productively with visual thinkers and advocate for your point of view
- Work cross-functionally to build experiments, develop hypotheses, and test plans
- Team Citizenship
- Foster a culture of collaboration, where constructive feedback and open dialogue are required
- Mentor more junior team members to support their work quality and career growth
- Proactively track and share project plans, progress, and problems with your manager and cross-functional collaborators
- Demonstrate professional, positive, and proactive communication with peers

- Help with hiring and onboarding new team members
What You Should Have:
- 8+ years of experience as a UX Writer with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Strong preference for localization experience
- Familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini/Bard, etc., a plus
- A builder who’s comfortable in a high-growth environment
- A demonstrated ability to use empathy, logic, and data to inform design choices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present research to stakeholders and executive leadership
- A passion for building accessible, inclusive, quality products — and to evangelize those practices
- Collaborative mindset and comfortable working effectively in cross-functional teams
- A compassionate doer who seeks to improve our processes and regularly works to identify areas to maximize team efficiency
- Great team player, highly self-motivated
- Ability to collaborate closely with technical writers, product designers, product managers, and engineers
