Senior UX Program Manager

Location:

You’ll be working remotely from anywhere in the US.

 This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. Once we can safely travel, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

GoDaddy is looking for a UX Program Manager to sit within GoDaddy Creative & Design team who will be a passionate connector and problem solver. By supporting the Brand Marketing Customer Success team, you will enable creatives to focus their time on designing, writing, and shipping creative assets for our customer’s online properties. You will improve team velocity, ensure site functionality, enable cross-functional collaboration, and remove roadblocks. The UX Program Manager will utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our web design and development initiatives delivered at a high-quality and at velocity.

A successful UX Program Manager candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an appreciation for elegant and intuitive UI/UX experiences, and the ability to anticipate the workloads based on forecasting and pull in the resources necessary to complete the projects. You will find a balance between creative needs and executional timelines to staff projects appropriately and set the team up for success, while offering outstanding creative solutions to customer experience problems.

• Identify and drive design initiatives forward that have multiple partners and approvers
• Create a customer feedback process to capture product and services insights through the experience of our Marketing and Brand customers and deliver to internal Product, UX/UI and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the design process to help the team plan and manage multiple parallel projects and seek chances to define improvements to team efficiency ensuring goals are met and team can hit target goals
• Primary point of contact for design and development (both internal and external), working closely with leads to proactively clarify requirements and use cases, actively seeking clarification when there is ambiguity
• Provide daily, full-traffic management of internal creative teams, maintaining the backlog and facilitating creative intake
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide issue management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with potential technical constraints.
• Build, maintain, and disseminate project information to support the management team
• Drive and communicate project requirements to creatives to ensure project output meets the brief and ensure all pieces of the request are delivered within the anticipated timeframe

Your experience should include...

• Manage project cycles and provide leadership/guidance of core team to ensure fulfillment of the customer and project needs
• Utilize a strong understanding of GoDaddy products and services (plus GoDaddy’s competitors) to confidently recommend appropriate solutions
• Ensure projects adhere to brand guidance roadmap and internal processes
• Develop internal trust; with product/service departments and marketing teams, as well as externally; with customers and third-party vendors
• Approver of GoDaddy Guides assessment of customer’s personal brand/business and their product and services recommendations
• Escalates product and service issues to the respected point of contact
• Defines scope, timeline and costs associated with building online presence products and tools (websites, etc.); act as UX specialist throughout the entire process with internal and external partners
