With a reach of over 85 million football fans worldwide every month, we are the largest and most popular digital media platform for football fans. We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to drive and develop our User Research operations. While being embedded into the Product Division, User Research acts as a central agency to collaborate with any department in the company, from Product and Design, to Marketing, Sales, Social Media and Content.
As a Senior User Researcher, you will work with multiple methods to deliver to fast paced and innovative teams as we build the world’s best football platform. You will help the teams across the org to gain a deep understanding of modern football fans needs, enabling user-centric decisions and influencing initiatives across the org. You will be the point of contact for internal stakeholders and influence product development by bringing the voice of football fans into our processes.
Your Role:
- Build strong relationships with your stakeholders and establish User Research at OneFootball as a constant contributor for business success and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate directly with UX designers, product managers and business teams, using a blend of design thinking and UX research findings to iteratively enhance OneFootball products.
- Run periodic studies that address both user behavior and attitudes by using the right methodology for the right question.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and partner them to identify high impact work within the organisation.
- Analyze external data, understand different markets and different industries, set up hypotheses and communicate results to the team to emphasize a user-centered culture.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative research insights to inform product development.
- Present insights in creative ways that engage all types of stakeholders withing the organisation.
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in user research activities.
- Build and maintain a knowledge database with external and internal studies in order to provide insights and learning.
Your Profile:
- You hold a degree in psychology, human factors, human computer interaction, anthropology, or a related field.
- You have extensive experience in a research role at a consumer-focused company.
- You have broad experience with exploratory qualitative research as well as evaluative methods such as usability testing.
- You can comfortably run diary studies.
- You’re familiar with quantitative research and understand how user research help shape metrics and drive teams towards success.
- You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analysing and communicating research.
- You are a great storyteller and communicator.
- You have excellent analytical skills.
- You are a team player and show empathy towards your colleagues and stakeholders who ask you for advice and research support.
- You have experience mentoring and coaching less experienced researchers and interns.
