WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We are looking for Product Managers of varying seniority levels to join key product areas such as Banking Infrastructure, Cards, Wealth, and Fincrime. As part of the Banking Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and scaling the technological backbone of Trade Republic. The team owns the payment rails, ledger, and core banking platform, all of which are critical to the integrity, performance, and reliability of our financial products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Take full ownership of core banking components: You’ll be the end-to-end owner of one (or more) of our foundational systems such as our core banking platform, payment rails, and ledger. This includes defining the long-term vision, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring robust execution—from ideation to delivery—while ensuring reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive product development with a 360° mindset: Collaborate closely with engineering to shape and deliver high-quality solutions. You’ll be line managing a team of engineers and serve as a strong partner to engineering leadership by bringing a systems-thinking approach, helping navigate technical trade-offs, and keeping delivery aligned with long-term product goals.
- Use data to drive decisions: Rely on data-driven insights to identify root problems, prioritize what matters most, and break down complex solutions into incremental and measurable product iterations. You’ll define success through clear metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Build future-proof systems: As the company scales, so must the systems. You will evaluate industry best practices, understand evolving user needs, and design infrastructure that is modular, resilient, and ready for the next stage of growth.
- Work cross-functionally at scale: Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders—including engineering, operations, compliance, security, legal, and data teams—to design solutions that are not only technically sound but also secure, compliant, and operationally viable. You will be the connective tissue between teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Act as a thought leader and partner to engineering: Serve as a strong partner to engineering leadership by bringing a systems-thinking approach, helping navigate technical trade-offs, and keeping delivery aligned with long-term product goals.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 4 years of product management hands-on experience in user facing or technical products (i.e. platforms, distributed systems, SDKs, etc.)
- Founder-mindset - you enjoy working in highly autonomous, ambiguous and fast paced environment
- Strong analytical, prioritisation, organisational and problem solving skills
