What will you do? (The role)

You’ll be part of a Service Design & Research function contributing to shape the larger Product Design team. You’ll solve user problems to create a world-class experience that is useful, usable, and delightful. You will contribute in solving big user problems by taking design principles deep into the business operations.

At Omnipresent, our Product is digital as well as human. We aim to make both our digital and human driven products scalable, and for them to work together seamlessly. You will work not only with engineers, but operational disciplines throughout the company to improve the user experience and whole product through service design.

  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams to drive the design, prototyping, building and delivery of complex services and product
  • Design and facilitate research and insight programmes, conducting continuous research on the current products and the industry to identify opportunities and drive for their implementation
  • Experience directly conducting primary research (both qualitative and quantitative) end-to-end (i.e., designing, fielding, analysing and reporting out data).
  • Create and design holistic and detailed user journeys and service blueprints
  • Create systems and organisational structures to create excellent levels of service and design improvements, affecting both digital product and process
  • Facilitate experiments and design sprints to rapidly test and iterate prototypes
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholder groups to successfully influence long-lasting change

What are you great at? (Previous experience)

  • Organising and switching rapidly between different initiatives, and working in a light pragmatic way when needed, in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
  • End-to-end & surface-to-core service design, from customer discovery to solution design to implementation, creating experiences and interfaces that significantly impact company objectives.
  • Communicating your findings to the team and company to drive understanding of users and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability in designing and leading qualitative research, specifically remote in-depth interviews and contextual inquiry using various digital tools (Usertesting.com, Ethnio, UserZoom, Lookback etc)
  • Experience in digital marketing or marketing strategy.

  • Enjoys the entire gamut of all things Design: research, product design, interaction design, information architecture, design validation, agile principles, working with tools, and communicating findings across the organisation; and your portfolio shows this
  • Is humble and open to constructive feedback, both giving and receiving

  • Experience in SaaS, especially HR tech
  • Experience in strategic foresight or trend analysis.

  • Home office setup: It should go without saying that we will provide you with the equipment you need to work from home in the same way you would if you were in an office. Prefer a PC to a Mac? No problem. You choose what you need. We'll give you a budget to get all the infrastructure that enables you to work effectively wherever you are, including broadband costs.
  • Education budget: Your development should be a continuous conversation with your manager and they will support you in choosing what you need whether that's accreditations, workshops, or formal degree programs or courses. Important is that you update your Individual Development Plan with any kind of education you take, so that you make sure that you apply the knowledge you have gained in theory, and the learned information will stay with you long term.
