Atlassian Advisory Services delivers consultative and tailored solutions guidance to our largest customers, to help them plan and achieve transformational outcomes faster, resulting in exceptional value to their business from Atlassian's products. 
Atlassian is looking for a Senior Service Designer to join our Advisory Services team to design effective customer engagement experiences that scale and optimize our Services team offerings to provide our Enterprise customers an exceptional Enterprise experience with their adoption, deployment, and ongoing usage of Atlassian products.
You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of Services leadership to create solutions that help us deliver value for Enterprise customers by developing systems that scale with remote and onsite service delivery in mind.

What we want to get done:

  • You are passionate about customer experience, the software collaboration space, and great design. You have experience designing and/or implementing solutions for complex Enterprise use cases.
  • You easily communicate and envision service concepts and ideas to team members and key stakeholders. You bring a broad skill-set of methods & tools that can help illustrate and optimize Atlassian’s Advisory services offering.
  • You are passionate about growing exceptional customer experience and customer services and thrive on delivering great outcomes for the large enterprise cohort. You have experience scaling services and understand how to build and scale value proposition, brand, and customer experience to deliver great outcomes for your customers.
  • Map the service experiences of users and defining how Advisory Services needs to change from a user-centered, system, and business perspective so our offerings are more effective.
  • Set future design vision for Services Engagements as a set of product experiences that inspire people and meet the needs of our largest customers.
  • Designing, building, and setting usability tests for service and product prototypes, working from sketches into quick prototypes that can be iterated with feedback
  • Work with Value Framework Program Manager and Service Delivery Offer Manager to optimize existing Service offerings and bring service design to scale new offerings.
  • Present to our Service Innovation Council and leadership teams on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Service Design within Advisory Services
  • Serve as an advisor to internal Advisory Services in developing services and offerings across Atlassian.
  • Partner with Customer Value Framework team to design, assess, optimize, develop and deliver services offerings to market.
  • Internally at Atlassian, you will partner with the delivery team leads and our broader Customer Success & Innovation team, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Channel.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a design consultancy or equivalent position  focused on Enterprise scale
  • Experience designing and/or implementing solutions for Professional Services teams.
  • Proven designs and experience of launched services that have been implemented in the real world
  • Deep expertise in design thinking/human-centered design
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant service design discipline 
  • (Systems Design, Business Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design)
  • Ability to work within a self-directed culture and navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to influence, build trust, and foster relationships with peers and customer stakeholders, developing strategic customer relationships and services adoption outcomes
  • Ability to articulate the value of advisory services, training, and partner sourced services, in product adoption and growth cycles
  • Experience crafting a project vision, execution strategy, and client relationship
  • Experience with concepting, ideation, and iterative prototyping
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
