Reddit is looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead new products to support our business experience on Reddit, from product strategy to commercialization. This person will be responsible for inbound and go-to-market functions, working closely with product, sales, marketing and comms to represent customer needs internally and grow adoption externally. In this role, they will help shape the solutions that enable our marketing partners to be successful on Reddit. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the digital advertising market, experience working at the intersection of advertiser and consumer experiences in social media, and a track record of successfully launching and scaling early stage product bets. We are looking for a senior product marketer who is a self-starter and is comfortable with ambiguity, is a strong cross-functional collaborator, and has a proven track record of shaping product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies that deliver business results. This is a role with tremendous opportunity for growth and business impact.

Location: This role is flexible to be remote within North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy and go-to-market for new products at the intersection of the advertiser and consumer & community experiences on Reddit 
  • Inbound & Product Strategy
    • Act as a subject matter expert on social media marketing ecosystem, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies 
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis and customer feedback sessions to identify trends and build a business case for new product features and improvements to existing products
    • Identify and size product gaps and market opportunities to influence the product roadmap
    • Develop a deep understanding of our community and consumer roadmaps, and foster close collaboration with community team to influence product strategy
    • Collaborate with product and other cross-functional partners to define the product roadmap and feature prioritization based on customer and market insights
  • Go-to-market
    • Develop the marketing strategy for new business and advertiser experience investments, including target customer segments, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with product, sales, and communications teams
    • Lead and execute commercialization plans for product launches in collaboration with marketing, comms, business development, sales enablement, community and more
    • Collaborate with our community team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that consider all stakeholders on Reddit (e.g. advertisers, consumers, communities and moderators)
    • Work closely with business development and sales teams to drive adoption across key customer segments 
    • Monitor and analyze adoption, customer feedback and market trends in order to identify opportunities 

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    • 6-10+ years of combined experience across management consulting and product management or product marketing
    • Of which 3-5+ years of experience in digital advertising, social media strongly preferred
    • The ideal candidate also has experience and/or deep knowledge of:
      • Products that live at the intersection of the advertiser and consumer experience
      • Defining, launching and scaling early stage product bets, including 0 to 1 initiatives
      • organic solutions for business
    • MBA preferred but not required
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional workstreams
    • Analytical skills and mindset with experience sizing opportunities and using data to drive decisions
    • Ability to develop, articulate and drive product strategy
    • Ability to organize and influence large groups across teams, especially product teams
    • Outstanding communication skills, structured thinking, and narrative storytelling abilities
    • Exceptional writing ability, including ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
    • Strong executive presence 
    • Comfort with ambiguity and entrepreneurial spirit; ability to operate autonomously, constantly prioritize competing interests and break through execution siloes
    • Execution excellence and high level of attention to detail
    • Proven ability to identify customer needs and gather market feedback that can be distilled into solutions
    • Intellectual curiosity and passion for digital media industry

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$190,800$267,100 USD
