We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to be the first person on a team whose focus is to promote how Workato uses Workato internally. Within Workato there are 1,000+ automations running at any given time that allow us to operate at a speed and scale that few companies can match. We need your help to bring the incredible work our internal business technology team produces to the broader world. Establishing Workato as a thought leader not only as an automation vendor but also as a company using automations to power their business. This role will report into our CIO who has the responsibility of not only running IT but also building marketing programs and content around how we use Workato internally. This person will also collaborate closely with our Product Marketing team.
You are a self-starter, organized, highly collaborative, enjoy leading multiple high-priority projects, and enjoy creating content (blogs, white papers, webinars, etc.) for us in creating pipeline and nurturing prospects in the sales cycle. Your partners include Content for asset production, Customer and Competitive Intelligence to establish key collateral for field teams, Demand Generation to ensure pipeline coverage and Event for planning and execution.
The role will also work closely with the Workato Marketing, Sales Development, Sales and Solutions Consulting teams focused on helping IT leaders find success with Workato.
In order to be successful in this role, you must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value propositions of the Workato platform to business and technical prospective users and buyers, especially as it relates to the technologies they use and business problems they have as related to Information Technology.
Contribute to delivery of core PMM strategy for the Business Technology (BT) Team by owning & supporting campaigns, initiatives, content, events, and more.
Act as the primary marketing contact to showcase how Workato is achieving its business outcomes by automating its business processes and integrating its applications, data, and UX. This will involve producing content, speaking at events, talking to customers, prospects, and more
Partner with Demand Generation to execute on the BT Events Calendar including virtual and live webinars, conferences, customer events, and more.
Contribute to key pipeline generating campaigns to support the business unit meeting hyper-growth sales targets.
Partner with Sales Enablement on programming and certification on how Workato is driving growth, efficiency using Workato.
Build a pipeline of internal testimonials and develop up-to-date stories (such as videos, one-pagers, blog posts, internal and external presentations, etc.) with a view toward articulating value.
Stay on top of news regarding the Integration and Automation tech markets and surrounding markets
Articulate and educate on business and technical concepts to BT/IT personas
BA/BS or equivalent education
5+ years of experience in a SaaS organization with preference towards companies that sell to an IT persona
3+ years in a direct PMM capacity or consulting position working with an IT team
Deep familiarity with the IT technology ecosystem (CRM, ERP, Security, Infrastructure, quote-to-cash, etc)
A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in front of all audiences (business & technical)
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with Demand Generation, Sales, Content, Events, Enablement, Product, and Customer Success teams
Experience developing marketing campaigns with proven outcomes meeting pipeline goals
