About the job

This position is needed to develop and support a vision for the future of customer engagement, focused on our Twilio for Marketing products which include Personas, Engage, and Marketing Campaigns. In this role you will also be responsible for positioning, messaging and GTM activities around product launches, content, and campaign development for the Personas product. We don’t have hard and fast requirements - everyone is different. We are looking for you to demonstrate whether you have the core attributes of a phenomenal product marketer and that you care about software products for marketers. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the launch of new products and features by collaborating with product management, marketing, and sales
  • Craft compelling positioning, messaging and collateral to convey the value of our products. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders across marketing and enablement to to increase customer adoption and product revenue. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and keep a pulse on the competitive landscape to inform our go-to-market strategy. 
  • Synthesize market, customer success, and sales needs to help inform and develop the product roadmap.

Required:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience (marketing, product, sales), including 4+ years of B2B product marketing experience 
  • Incredibly organized and efficient—you take on complex projects and campaigns and own them from start to finish
  • Can lead feature launches autonomously and contributed to large product launches
  • Have experience marketing a product to product management, marketing, engineering or analytics teams
  • Have strong product instincts and technical curiosity that translate to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging
  • Have exceptional written, communication, and speaking skills 
  • Thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Approach all projects with a customer-first mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

Desired:

  • MBA is a plus
  • Experience marketing to the marketer persona and interest in marketing software solutions. 
  • Experience working with the analyst community and presenting them with a point of view on product and industry trends.

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $109,824- $ 137,280. 
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
