Role
As Senior Product Marketing Manager at Ionic you will plan and orchestrate the go-to-market strategy for our product pillars. That includes mapping and segmenting the market, clarifying our positioning strategy, building out the messaging, and orchestrating all the key activities involved in launching, promoting, and selling the respective pillar’s products and solutions.
As a senior member of the Product Marketing team, you’ll be able to coach and mentor fellow product marketers. The goal is to ensure consistency and alignment regarding our narrative(s) towards our various buyer and user personas.
Your work will have a direct impact on Ionic’s continued revenue growth by creating awareness and helping us gain traction in new markets, crafting compelling messaging and marketing campaigns that drive adoption, and enabling our sellers to close deals and accelerate our selling velocity.

In your role you’ll be measured on your ability to:
• Generate awareness for our products and services and find ways to expand our TAM (total available market)
• Increase adoption and evaluation of our products in the form of account signups and free trials
• Drive pipeline and revenue growth through effective positioning and messaging
• Educate and enable the rest of the go-to-market organization, including fellow Marketing teammates, Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers
Responsibilities
Your areas of ownership will include:
• Positioning - Work with Product Management to develop effective positioning strategies for our products and services, including target market, pain points, differentiation, and value for customers.
• Messaging - Build out the official messaging documents, including core positioning strategy, differentiation and competitive comparisons, features and benefits, and proof points.
• Product launches - Working with Marketing Operations and Demand Generation, plan and coordinate major product launches and announcements to increase awareness and consideration among our community and target market.
• Sales enablement - Use your expert knowledge and understanding of our buyers, our market, and our products to educate and enable the Ionic sales team to effectively position and sell our solutions.
• Content - Assist with the creation of net-new content, particularly as it concerns our products and services. This includes product literature such as data sheets, landing pages, FAQs, white papers, and more.

Location
Fully remote, Ionic is currently a 100% remote workforce and was largely distributed prior to the pandemic (more than half the team did not work from the office). Our headquarters is located in Madison, WI.
