This PMM will be responsible for creating strong messaging that will span materials from a first call deck to the website. This individual will have the responsibility of being the center point of messaging for the PMM team and ensuring messaging is consistent across other channels and content it is adapted for.

Role responsibilities
Strong messaging and positioning skills with the ability to turn a complex technical platform into an easy to understand solution.
Understand our customers within our target segments and buyer personas (including by talking regularly with current and prospective customers).
Create clear, concise messaging that summarizes Personio’s overall product value (including Personio’s core product and add on products).
Strong slide design and storytelling abilities is a must.
Produce attention-grabbing marketing and sales enablement materials.
Build strong partnerships with product leaders and sales leaders to test and receive buy in on key messaging.
Work closely with our competitive teams to conduct research to test messaging differentiation.
Work closely with the entire product marketing team and broader marketing team including PR, social, enablement, brand, and more.
Support our annual major event, HUG, for content production.
Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in a Product Marketing role, where you launched products with results to show. Ideally with previous experience in SaaS companies with solutions in the B2B world within the HR space.
Complexity: You can prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects in a fast-paced environment. You like to think through complex issues and come up with effective solutions. You’re analytical in nature, and can draw logical conclusions from different pieces of information.
Impact oriented: You set out with impact in mind, evaluating what you should work on by the impact it will make. And then you measure the impact and iterate where needed.
Data driven: You have previously synthesized results of market insight projects into a deep understanding of the customer and the market and have used that knowledge to support product development and sales and marketing initiatives
Agility: You thrive in a dynamic environment and aren’t afraid to change course when required.
Influence: You have strong presentation and verbal skills and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience—from software engineer to CEO. You will write compelling copy and clear internal docs. The bar for your writing is high: you’ll write crisp, bold prose.
Digital dexterity: You have worked with various tools such as Slack, Notion, Click-Up. And if not, you are adept at learning as you go.
Team work: You are energized by building relationships with people from different backgrounds and with different roles and geographical locations. Product Marketers collaborate across the Marketing team and with basically every team at Personio so you will be able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work.
