About the Role
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager with a GM mentality, you will be responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy and execution of our Accounting Channel across messaging and positioning, accountant persona research, product launches to accounting channel, and sales enablement.
Additionally, you’ll partner closely with the Product, Marketing, Channel Sales, and Customer Success team to drive channel growth through integrated campaigns, lifecycle marketing, events, content creation, and customer education.
Ramp's Accounting Channel is composed of accountant partners and firms who recommend Ramp's Corporate Card and Spend Management solution to their clients. Success relies on partners having thorough product knowledge, marketing resources and training. The ideal candidate for this role is business-minded, strategic and has experience in partner and channel marketing.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Ramp’s Accounting Channel function within Product Marketing
- Be Ramp’s accountant persona expert, developing deep market, industry, competitive, and buyer research to translate Ramp’s products and value propositions to our accounting audience
- Launch all of Ramp’s products and releases to our accounting firm partners and their clients
- Enable our accounting channel sales team and accounting firm partners on our product portfolio through the creation of sales enablement, collateral and programs
- Drive product awareness, partner lead acquisition, partner conversion, partner client referrals, and partner-driven revenue through the cross-functional development of industry thought leadership, content creation, events and webinars assets, integrated campaigns, and lifecycle marketing
- Be a spokesperson, evangelist, and presenter for our accounting firm partners and their clients across events, webinars, and critical customer engagements
- Support in the creation partner education resource materials and certification programs to ensure partner product knowledge expertise
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, channel strategy, partner marketing, or growth marketing in B2B SaaS or within the accounting industry
- Industry expert and veteran of channel sales and partner marketing strategies, including a proven track record of creating and executing go-to-market plans for new products and features
- Experience developing and delivering training and enablement programs for channel partners and sales teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking experience
- Strong technical acumen and ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and make decisions
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and comfort within a highly cross-functional role
Nice To Haves
- MBA or BS in economics, computer science, MIS, or related STEM field
- Experience working in hyper-growth startups and/or technology companies
- Domain expertise in the financial and accounting software space
Compensation
- The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role in NYC is $140,000-$165,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
