Senior Product Marketing Manager | Remotely from Amsterdam or UK

The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy. We shape MessageBird’s market view and assess how we will win. We then turn the strategy into repeatable sales and marketing programs to attract and expand customers.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you own the go-to-market for a key product area - balancing both strategy and execution. You are responsible for distilling internal and external insights into an informed road to market. You will be developing narratives around how businesses can provide better experiences through communication and automation. You will create compelling content to help customers understand how they can address inefficient processes and bring experiences online, and integrate this content into the marketing and sales programs across the globe, to drive customer engagement, customer acquisition, and service adoption. 

You will work closely with our sales, customer success, and sales engineering teams who interact with customers each day, but also work with the product teams to take those insights and shape the product vision and prioritize features. You’ll get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.

What You’ll Do

• Shape our view of the market and assess how we win by evaluating customer insights, market requirements, and competitor intelligence.
• Define what we sell, to whom, and at what price point.
• Creating repeatability across personas, countries and verticals by developing playbooks to land and expand accounts through sales and marketing.
• Develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (videos, blogs, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, demos, how-to guides, etc.), to be used on the web, live events, and in other channels.
• Work closely with a Product counterpart to surface gaps in our offering and develop the product strategy.
• Work closely with customer-facing teams (sales, solution engineering, CX, partnerships, demand gen) to execute playbooks and drive adoption and expansion.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, or product marketing/management
• 5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content
• Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products.
• Comfort moving between strategy and execution.
• Preferred background (these are all a plus): MBA/STEM or experience working in B2B tech for engineering, customer support, marketing or operations teams.
