About the job

This position is needed to lead product marketing for Twilio Segment’s global cloud solutions products that help our customers respond to industry regulations like GDPR, CCPA and HIPPA.

The person in this role will also collaborate with the Director of Product Marketing to build relationships with the analyst community.

Product Marketing drives key go-to-market initiatives at Twilio Segment. We work closely with product management, engineering, and design to define our product roadmap and we partner with marketing, sales, and success to bring new products and features to market. We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, collaborative product marketer to join our fast-growing team. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Oversee the launch of new products and features by collaborating with product management, marketing, and sales
  • Refine Twilio Segment’s packaging based on a deep understanding of our customers, market trends, and our product
  • Create compelling positioning and collateral that showcases the value of our products
  • Synthesize market, customer success, and sales needs to help inform and develop the product roadmap 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and keep a pulse on the competitive landscape to inform our go-to-market strategy 
  • Own marketing campaigns that will generate leads for our sales team.
  • Represent Segment with the analyst community

Required:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience (marketing, product, sales), including 4+ years of B2B product marketing experience 
  • Incredibly organized and efficient—you take on complex projects and campaigns and own them from start to finish
  • Can lead feature launches autonomously and contributed to large product launches
  • Have experience marketing a product to product management, marketing, engineering or analytics teams 
  • Have strong product instincts and technical curiosity that translate to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging 
  • Have exceptional written, communication, and speaking skills 
  • Thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Approach all projects with a customer-first mindset

Desired:

  • MBA is a plus 
  • Experience working on products that address privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA or HIPPA
  • Experience working with the analyst community and presenting them with a point of view on product and industry trends

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $109,824- $137,280
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
