The new data science product marketing manager role will lead marketing across all data science workload and services at Databricks. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and develop the marketing strategy for how Databricks can uniquely empower data science teams to accelerate ML solution development. You will work with all teams within the Marketing organization, and a specialized technical sales team, to promote adoption of Databricks machine learning services and the open source technologies that underpin the platform.

The impact you will have:

  • Own the value proposition, messaging, collateral and GTM for data science and land it across channels - including web, field, partners and events
  • Create an always-on go-to-market plan, and pilot new programs with a focus on winning mindshare to increase awareness (e.g. registrations, downloads, views), demand ($ pipeline) and product adoption (usage) of data science services
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to create a regular rhythm of landing product news and land high impact announcements
  • Increase global reach by working with field marketing teams, developer advocacy, industry, events and partner organization to help scale the business globally

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing or developer marketing for an enterprise software or SaaS company.
  • Portfolio of impactful marketing content, sales enablement materials and always-on GTM across the marketing funnel
  • Experience with cloud, data analytics, machine learning or AI technologies
  • BS in Marketing or Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with relevant professional experience
