Position Summary

We are seeking a Product Management leader to drive the user setup, onboarding, and core platform experiences for our users. You will be responsible for setting the direction and driving results for a core product initiative at Workato. You will work closely with our users and senior leadership to define the product strategy, develop roadmaps, and drive new user engagement through delivering intuitive and seamless product improvements. You will work closely with a team of product managers, designers, developers, data scientists, and marketers to build experiences that enable our clients to gain immediate value from Workato while creating winning strategies for driving re-engagement.

Your strong product instincts and ability to combine a deep understanding of customer use cases with experimentation and data analysis will be crucial in developing the right solutions at the right time.

Responsibilities

This is a remote role, candidates based anywhere in the US are welcome to apply! You will also be responsible to:

  • Driving the strategy and roadmap for the first touchpoint that users have with our product.

  • Working closely with design and engineering and design to set and achieve OKRs related to user onboarding. 

  • Working cross-functionally with customer success, product support, partner, sales, marketing and operations to make sure that the product onboarding experience is seamless with the rest of the user journey.

  • Working with Customer Success to streamline launches for new clients.

  • Partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to assess emerging trends and incorporating strategic direction into the onboarding roadmap and backlog.

  • Lead a team through product discovery, experimentation, usability testing, and the launch of innovative product improvements.

  • Champion customer needs, pain points, and business opportunities across the organization and develop a shared understanding of the product area vision.

  • Actively define the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and create business cases to outline new strategic product opportunities.

  • Create detailed functional specifications from prioritized requirements.

  • Communicate requirements and technical details to stakeholders, designers, and engineering teams.

  • Lead, align, and influence PMs, Designers, and Developers to build on existing product functionalities and features to increase user engagement.

  • Own product roadmap around, Pendo or comparable in-product analytics/tours/onboarding to improve feature adoption and visibility of usage.

  • Establish clear project goals and aggressively measure & assess your business impact while prioritizing additional opportunities for success.

  • Constantly seek out opportunities to increase personal and team efficiency and effectiveness in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 5+ years product management experience within Enterprise SaaS

  • Familiarity with machine learning approaches to drive personalization, recommendation, and sorting problems

  • Ability to leverage analytics and data to drive product decision making; familiarity with leveraging MixPanel, Google Analytics, Pendo, or other tools to understand user flows and usability issues

  • Proven success in driving acquisition, activation, and engagement of users in a digital sales SaaS sales model

  • Proven success of increasing product and feature adoption through data-driven product changes or enablement

  • Experience designing, instrumenting tools and interpreting tests and analytics to drive decisions and improve product experiences

  • Experience establishing customer-centric requirements and writing functional design specification documents to satisfy the requirements

  • Excellent product sense and craftsmanship. Have a history of working with design and development to produce a phenomenal user experience

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Willingness to experiment and stellar ability to collaborate with PMs, Designers, Researchers, Engineering teams, etc

  • Strong bias for action. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals
