Our Product team is focused on building reliable, localised and globally relevant trading products and platforms that provide global peace of mind to our customers in 200 countries in 28 languages where they can trade CFDs globally and Spread-betting and Stock trading in some locations.
As a Product Manager for the website, you will help set the strategy for content including marketing, news, editorial and education, building the roadmap and creation/adoption of relevant marketing technology stacks that enable richer, better experiences for customers.
With a deep understanding of our diversified customer behaviour, you will connect both the business and technical worlds to deliver a great customer experience and value proposition that our customers love and trust. Your goal is to increase customer acquisition and conversion by providing an effortless customer-centric experience and increase long-term customer retention through measurable outcomes and obsessive attention to our customer needs.
You will build a test-and-learn cycle using quantitative data, previous experiments, qualitative research and observations of our customers to construct testable hypotheses resulting in customer-led outcomes.
What will you do:
- Develop the strategy for the marketing/education technology platform to support Capital’s growth plans
- Work with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Editorial, SEO, and Education teams to define and document user stories and requirements to guide engineering teams.
- Improve self-service content discoverability, content performance and scalable content delivery with strategic programs and tool investments
- Define a roadmap of customer-centric value-adding features and experiences.
We expect:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with at least 3+ years of building customer-facing products
- B2C digital consumer product experience
- Background working with editorial / news content websites
- Experience leading product teams, are well versed about customer experience and persona creation and management
- An analytical mindset and are metrics-driven in your approach to product delivery. You have a structured problem-solving approach and are strongly driven by data, metrics, outcomes and KPIs which align with commercial and business objectives.
- The ability to work closely with distributed development teams and engineers to make tough trade offs to ensure rapid delivery whilst considering the short term benefits vs long-term effects
- Good experience of working closely with design teams from frameworks to high fidelity design and having a toolbox of methods for different aspects of the product management lifecycle.
- Experience with conversion funnels and running A/B tests to iterate on content and features
- To be able to work with engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and you can sweat the details to understand the impacts of these tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects.
- Some understanding of Marketing Technology architecture (experience with some form of CMS), including content and digital asset management, managing localisation at scale, measurement/data tools, and customer segmentation.
