At Plum, we're on a mission to maximise wealth for all. We’re making saving money effortless and turning investing into something everyone can do. Our journey began back in 2017, when we became one of the first to use artificial intelligence and automation to simplify personal finance. Fast forward to today, and we've already helped people save £2 billion across 10 European markets.

Named the UK's fastest-growing fintech in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, our success is down to the passion and dedication of our diverse team. Based in our London, Athens and Nicosia offices, 170 talented people work together to empower people to do more with their money. And now, the team is growing!

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Plum in the London office and lead the Subscriptions squad. You’ll be expected to deeply understand how users think about money, the challenges they face when it comes to thinking about wealth and find elegant solutions to complex problems.

Plum’s subscriptions are paid plans that users subscribe to in order to get closer to their wealth goals - these plans unlock various features such as access to certain products, better rates and powerful automations that take the effort out of wealth building. In this role, you will be responsible for the full subscriber lifecycle: awareness, discovery, conversion, onboarding, engagement and retention. This is a crucial revenue function at Plum and the team is a key part of the Growth, Engagement & Monetization team.

In this role you will:

  • Firsthand product manage the subscriptions squad at Plum
  • Consistently strive for excellence to optimize the subscriptions funnels to minimize churn, maximize conversion and drive increased cross-sell/discovery of Plum’s offerings for users.
  • Manage the subscriptions P&L, which includes collaborating with data & marketing teams to drive retention, marketing & churn reduction strategies.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, launch experiments and iterate,
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers needs and the competitive landscape to ensure subscriptions drive step-change value for our users.
  • Drive the planning process and roadmap prioritisation for your team to drive KPIs that ultimately move Plum’s OKRs
  • Work closely with your Group PM and other PMs to define and construct a long term product strategy for our saving and investing products.

Ideally you are someone who:

  • Has proven experience building mobile consumer product/s across UK and/or Europe and ideally, worked in the subscriptions domain at a fast growing consumer scale-up
  • Has managed P&Ls before and led commercial thinking in the domain
  • Are able to manage a team of engineers, speak their language and are able to communicate business needs in a constructive & timely way
  • Is comfortable with data, can ground your thinking in analysis, can identify key metrics and their drivers and constantly drive actionable insights from numbers.
  • Can think critically and doesn’t settle for mediocrity, including possessing the resilience to challenge the status quo to make things better
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and a fast learner who is humble and curious, and enjoys developing yourself and those you work with
  • You have a proven track record of making an impact through experimentation and optimization
