Your future team
As a Senior Product Manager on JSM's ITOps team, you will focus on building and enhancing ITOPs capabilities for Atlassian's IT solutions. ITOPs capabilities span a wide gamut of areas, from incident management to change management, from problem management to service request management, and more.
What you'll do
- You will partner with engineering and design to form a triad to inspire and lead your team to success. Your responsibilities will include customer research, building product strategy and roadmap, establishing build-measure-learn loops, and experimentation in production. You will inspire and energise teams across Atlassian to define the vision, evaluate product opportunities, analyse industry trends as well as customer and partner needs, and prioritise features and improvements.
- Your work will impact millions of users and thousands of companies, including some of the leaders in their industries, for decades to come as you define the foundations for how Dev and IT teams connect, collaborate, and accomplish amazing things.
Your background
- 6+ years of Product Management experience.
- Computer Science or technical degree.
- Good to have Software Development Experience.
- Demonstrable experience launching ML/AI features
- Experience in Data analytics + visualizations and/or data engineering/platforms
- Product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company (Saas)
- True obsession for customers – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it's what gets you out of bed in the morning, even if it means a tough conversation
- Ability to prioritise opportunities, balance the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
- Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics
- A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build a compelling business case for new opportunities.
- Experience building successful cloud services/tools or technology infrastructure products
- Experience building ITSM, ITOM, DevOps, Dev tools or B2B SaaS applications/service
- Good understanding of enterprise IT org structures, buying/refresh/adoption cycles
