The Freemium R&D team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. Our team grows Spotify’s audience by finding future listeners around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right time. With research, product development, product design, engineering, and marketing all collaborating in one organization, we’re able to quickly create meaningful features and services for millions of people around the world, resulting in joyful, long-lasting relationships with Spotify.

We are looking for a driven, innovative, and impact focused Senior Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help our Freemium business grow by empowering marketing teams around the world to launch high-quality campaigns across our product experiences, using ML to provide listeners with the most relevant and exciting offers at the right place and at the right time.

This team is responsible for the tools and systems that empower Spotify marketing teams around the world to launch record-breaking campaigns. One example of this is the yearly campaign that runs alongside the award-winning end-of-year “Wrapped” campaign.

What you'll do

  • Shape, frame, and communicate your vision and strategy for how Spotify can empower teams from over 25 countries across the globe to drive impact through locally relevant and high-quality campaigns.
  • Influence your team and cross functional partners towards alignment and execution.
  • Work with Design, Insights, Marketing, Engineering and other teams to implement that strategy and roadmap, collecting insights and proof points along the way.
  • Combine creativity with thoughtful experimentation and iteration to find the ideas that are most impactful to listeners and to Spotify.
  • Champion Spotify’s culture and values to make sure that your team is strong and healthy.

Who you are

  • You're an experienced product manager with a background in data driven product development and a track record of leading teams to impact.
  • You have experience working with products using ML components, built with internal users in mind, e.g. marketing and content teams.
  • You have an innovative mentality, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity.
  • You can partner and influence effectively across all levels of an organization, and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you.
  • You have a history of finding innovative ways to validate big and novel ideas. You’re partial towards action and driving impact.
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context.
  • You bring a passion for music and podcast culture, and for cultural equity and impact in general.
