Nextdoor is where you connect to the neighborhoods that matter to you so you can belong. Our purpose is to cultivate a kinder world where everyone has a neighborhood they can rely on.
Neighbors around the world turn to Nextdoor daily to receive trusted information, give and get help, get things done, and build real-world connections with those nearby — neighbors, businesses, and public services. Today, neighbors rely on Nextdoor in more than 315,000 neighborhoods across 11 countries.
As a Growth Product Manager for Retention at Nextdoor, you’ll be at the forefront in scaling our product to empower neighbors in building stronger communities and transforming how people connect and engage with their local area. In this role, you’ll define and deliver new strategies and tactics to drive nonlinear user growth via improving retention, as well as work cross-functionally to shape the future of the Nextdoor product as we continue to grow.
At the core of the growth team’s culture lies a relentless pursuit of impact, driven by a few key cultural principles:
Speed to Decision Making and Speed to Learning. We embrace the belief that the faster we make informed decisions and learn from them, the greater our impact becomes. We fully embrace Nextdoor’s core value of “Experiment and Learn Quickly.” Since we often won’t know what will work, we need to be able to build intentionally, test quickly, validate, and fail fast.
Data-Driven. We are unwaveringly data-driven. Every day, we dive deep into metrics, knowing them like the back of our hand. Metrics are our compass, guiding us toward our goals, helping us identify opportunities, and enabling us to measure our success with precision.
Bottoms-Up. Empowering autonomous teams is in our DNA. We embrace a bottoms-up culture, a permission-less culture where every team member has the power to drive change. We don’t wait to be told what to do. This empowers us to challenge assumptions, innovate fearlessly, and navigate through opportunities and challenges swiftly.
If you want the challenge of fast-paced growth, the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life, and the pride in helping grow a world-class growth team, this is the place for you.
