Udacity is now an Accenture company, and exciting things are happening! 🚀 As a Senior Retention Product Manager focused on B2C, you will be responsible for building a holistic retention strategy for Udacity’s consumer business and executing against that strategy. In this role you will need to wear many hats. Along with owning the retention metrics you will need to partner with the CRM team, content team, and our partner product teams to prioritize new projects that you’ve estimated to be impactful to business outcomes. You will work with a global team of passionate individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Success in the role will involve establishing and maintaining a business-focused, metrics oriented, retention program that drives meaningful improvement to Udacity’s consumer business. Location: We will consider qualified candidates who are currently based in the United States for this remote based position. Relocation assistance and/or visa sponsorship is not offered at this time.

What you'll do:

  • Identify retention KPIs and operationalize metrics inspection to track business performance
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap that supports customer retention and churn reduction
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand the customer experience and document key pain points and opportunities
  • Manage dependencies by closely partnering with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to align on program milestones and deliverables
  • Define and develop product requirements and collaborate closely with engineering to develop and release them 
  • Effectively communicate the roadmap, product features, and release plans to senior leadership and get buy-in
  • Build scalable organizational mechanisms that allow the cross-functional team to operate more efficiently, improve transparency, and be accountable to deadlines. 
  • Drive program launches and collaborate with business team to facilitate awareness and adoption of new features, and capture customer feedback

What we value:

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager
  • Experience working on digital subscription products
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage dependencies and complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with extreme attention to detail on tight deadlines
  • Track record of showing ownership over program lifecycle, managing all aspects of the program, and showing resilience in face of headwinds
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel
  • Experience deriving and presenting insights to business leaders
  • Ability to have collaborative, technical discussions with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs

Location: While this is a remote role, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America on a full-time basis

Compensation: The maximum base pay for this position is $150,000, depending on experience and location, and an annual bonus up to 15% of your base salary based on company/personal performance.
