We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. Our team comprises machine learning and backend engineers with extensive experience leading consumer-facing search applications. Together, you will drive strategic and impactful improvements in the Spotify Search experience, focusing on enhancing our capabilities to understand search intents and rank candidates to serve highly engaging and personalized results. The Search group consists of teams mainly based in Europe, with highly skilled members across product, engineering, and product insights. You will collaborate closely with other teams within the Personalization group that manage other user-facing features, such as Home, Personalized playlists, Promotions, and more.
What You'll Do
- Help build an outstanding audio search experience.
- Work with the team to articulate the vision and setting strategy and roadmap.
- Define and analyze metrics that guide the success of your team, as a part of Search and Spotify.
- Collaborate with team members to unlock new capabilities in our Search experience, especially when it comes to serving podcast and talk content, along with music.
- Make sure the team focuses on the most impactful work, helping highly skilled engineers to deliver value.
- Work in a data informed way, using both qualitative and quantitative research.
Who You Are
- Proven experience working as a Product Manager in large scale, user-facing applications of Search, Recommendations, Intent understanding or Promotions.
- Past experience working with Machine Learning powered products.
- Experienced in setting and executing on a product backlog:, balancing innovation, with short- and long-term goals.
- Highly capable of formulating and communicating product vision and strategy, whether it be to your team or to senior partners.
- You have worked in, and are interested in, building and supporting inclusive teams.
Where You'll Be
- For this role, you can be within the CET or GMT time zone with a strong preference to be in London or Stockholm.
