We’re looking for a
Senior Product Manager to join our team and play a leading role towards our mission of continuing to build a category-defining product that our customers love and trust. Our levelling 🪜
The salary band for this L3 role is £83-98k. Titles and compensation at Pento are dependent on our internal levelling (L1-6), which we'll assess and talk more about throughout the interview process.
The role 💬
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their challenges — you will immerse yourself in payroll and our product to quickly and intelligently identify product direction
- Lead continuous product discovery efforts to identify, validate and prioritise tackling the most impactful customer problems
- Work closely with the wider EPD team (Engineering, Product & Design) to scope and validate solutions that effectively solve user problems and create meaningful outcomes
- Through this work, shape our long-term company vision and product strategy
- Actively contribute to shaping our EPD processes and team practices to ensure we are working as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure the successful launch and adoption of new products and features

Your experience ✨
- A track record of shipping world-class products at fast-growing companies
- High comfort with ambiguity — we’re not chaotic but we change things fast
- Managed a product, or set of products, with a broad scope
- Experience leading continuous product discovery efforts
- High comfort and experience with product complexity, possibly in another regulated product environment
- A highly collaborative leader who works effectively with cross-functional partners
- High data literacy with the ability to analyse product usage data to spot opportunities, diagnose patterns, and smartly measure the impact of your teams’ work
