We build financial products that accelerate the economic freedom for people who move across borders. We started with car insurance — insuring over a million drivers — and we’re scaling beyond. Tens of millions of people move countries each year, facing overlooked financial challenges. Our future is in building financial products around their needs to positively impact their lives.
We’re really proud of the culture we’ve created. We push for progress every day, because we know that we’ll only hit big milestones by taking lots of smaller steps. We’re always open to helping our team mates, sharing our ideas, experience and knowledge to solve problems together. We take risks, think creatively and experiment relentlessly to meet our customer’s needs, and never pass blame when things go wrong. We encourage people at all levels to take ownership of their work, and to be bold in challenging how we do things. Everyone has a voice and the opportunity to make an impact.
And autonomy and ownership are only possible with clear direction. That’s why we collaborate to do in-depth planning twice a year, and make sure we leave with clear goals and objectives that flow from top to bottom. To make sure we’re as aligned as possible across functions, most of our work rolls up into three tribes; Acquisition, Retention & Claims. Each tribe has multiple teams embedded in it, working cross-functionally to do great work.
We’re so excited for all of the challenges up ahead, and we need more people to help us tackle them! If life at Marshmallow sounds like it could be for you, explore our Culture Handbook to find out more.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our New Products team; an ambitious, fast-moving group focused on building and launching entirely new products that drive meaningful growth for the business.
In this role, you’ll lead the development and scaling of a new product from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, driving 0→1 growth, and unlocking opportunities for future product launches.
It’s a great fit for someone who thrives on experimentation, moves quickly, and is hungry to deliver impact at pace.
You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional team, work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, and have a direct hand in launching something with real business and customer value.
You’ll be responsible for driving the performance and growth of a new product, with a focus on key commercial and customer outcomes. You’ll define and execute strategies to improve results across core metrics, set goals on a regular cadence, and share progress with the broader team and key stakeholders.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviours, identifying pain points, unmet needs, and the underlying reasons behind key customer decisions and actions.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams (such as Pricing or Finance) to ensure key product changes or updates are handled in a way that’s both commercially sound and operationally efficient.
You will own the roadmap for the team, using your understanding of customer needs, strategic business priorities and technical complexity to ensure we’re prioritising correctly
You’ll thrive here if you’re:
Entrepreneurial and customer-obsessed – you seek out untapped opportunities, move fast to test them, and know when to pivot or scale.
Ambitious and relentless – you’re hungry to build something big, and you don’t settle for “good enough.” You care deeply about outcomes.
Structured and strategic – you can zoom in to sweat the details and zoom out to connect your work to company goals.
Confident in ambiguity – you love complex spaces and can bring clarity where others see noise.
Commercially sharp – you know how to grow a product, not just build it.
6+ years of product management experience in 0-1, B-C environments
A track record of shipping and scaling new products
Experience owning end-to-end experimentation – you’ve built funnels, run A/B tests, and iterated based on results
Data fluency – you can define metrics, form hypotheses, analyse impact, and model growth
Experience working cross-functionally in high-velocity product teams
Bonus: experience in insurance, fintech, or regulated environments
At Marshmallow, our Senior Product Managers (L5) are high-autonomy ICs who own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for one or more squads. You’ll be the driving force behind bold bets, often shaping strategy that cuts across functions. Many of our Senior PMs have previously held roles like Senior PM, Lead PM, Principal PM, or Head of Product — but what matters most is your impact, clarity of thinking, and hunger to build.
