About the job

This position is needed to support our rapidly growing Marketing Campaigns (SendGrid) business. This role is critical to Twilio’s continued growth and will help us build the platform marketers use to engage their customers. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own and drive short and long term roadmaps for our Marketing Campaigns product.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize backlog items with customer impact at heart.
  • Identify and action on opportunities to collaborate with other product teams within Twilio.
  • Create detailed product specifications which include business reasons, use cases and which are focussed on addressing customer problems.
  • Learn and adjust frequently, while working in an Agile environment, to meet quarterly deadlines and sprint goals.

Required:

  • 3+ years experience in enterprise product management.
  • Customer obsession that starts with a strong understanding of the customer and works backwards to define a solution that delights them.
  • Manage cross functional dependencies and relationships with stakeholders across the business. 
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to build business cases for product proposals, present financial cases and frame decisions.
  • An understanding of martech and/or email marketing landscape.
  • Strong technical experience, both working with engineering counterparts and a solid understanding of the technical trade-offs of product decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  

Desired:

  • Agile experience (either product or program)

Location 

This role will be based in our Denver, CO office or Remote

Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $132,260 - $165,325.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
