About This Job

Dutchie is looking for an experienced Hardware Product Manager to lead the lifecycle and strategy of our hardware product offerings. You’ll work with business stakeholders, customers, and R&D partners to create and justify your hardware roadmap. You’ll build partnerships with vendors and suppliers, validate and launch new products, and support and sunset existing products as well. Dutchie has experienced unprecedented growth since our inception. As our first Hardware Product hire, you will play a key role in several critical hardware projects that will accelerate our future growth and success. 

What You'll Do...

  • Build and maintain a prioritized hardware product roadmap with solid business justifications
  • Be the voice of the customer. Deeply understand the functional, emotional, and regulatory needs of the users 
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team to source new products and validate them internally and externally through alpha and beta programs
  • Partner with the Operations team to build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Collaborate with the software product, design, research, and engineering teams to design and develop products that will delight the customers
  • Partner with Product Marketing to launch new products and ensure internal teams are prepared to support them
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to triage and investigate issues with existing products
  • Analyze and track product KPIs to understand how hardware products are performing in the field post launch 
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

What You Bring...

  • A minimum 5 years Product Manager in a fast-paced hardware development environment
  • Have launched at least 2 hardware products to market and end-of-lifed at least 1 hardware product
  • Strong understanding of hardware product development processes, from market research, user study, design, prototyping, production and post production quality support
  • Experience working with Software Development teams
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with hardware vendors and suppliers
  • Proven experience in bridging the technical and business sides of hardware projects. Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and lead by influence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven time management, prioritization and, organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. Equivalent work experience also acceptable
