We’re looking for an experienced product manager to solve crucial problems in the asset management space for the multifamily housing industry by helping owners and operators maximize the value of their properties through project management, preventative maintenance, property audits, and more. This position requires extensive expertise with B2B SaaS product management and all ceremonies and artifacts associated with agile methodologies for software development.

You will develop a product strategy and roadmap, working closely with and leading a delivery team consisting of product designers, engineers and technology team leaders to effectively and consistently ship valuable product features to our customers. Additionally, you will work cross functionally with product marketing, sales and other enabling departments to ensure that the entire customer experience is optimized, driving growth in terms of customers and revenue.  This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to solve exciting, high stakes problems to successfully position HappyCo products as the leading solution in property management and residential property asset valuation.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with leadership and other Product Managers to develop a product strategy and vision that aligns to the company strategy and produce a compelling roadmap that maximizes value creation, focused on the right problems to solve at the right time.
  • Understand and define the market, market opportunities and associated personas, distinguishing users from buyers and developing strategies to effectively capture both.
  • Perform deep product discovery, utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodologies to understand customer needs and problems from all angles, and turn them into compelling product proposals with supported cost/benefit analysis.
  • Lead a delivery team through the entire software development lifecycle, from early discovery to post-release analysis and everything in between.
  • Measure, report on and present the outcomes of feature and product development, using the learnings gained to make adjustments and pivots as needed. 
  • Collaborate with product marketing to stay up-to-date on the latest market, industry and competitive research to effectively position our products, highlight key advantages and determine the pricing strategy.
  • Establish processes for communicating and sharing product knowledge throughout the organization through timelines, release notes and other tools that will empower Support, Customer Success and Pro Services to provide exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years product management experience in B2B SaaS
  • Experience with agile scrum software development
  • A passion for providing software and services that solve customer problems which can only be achieved through a deep understanding and connection with the customer
  • Extensive experience in delivering software products on-time while achieving measurable outcomes
  • Data-driven, highly motivated individual who is inspired to outperform KPIs and obsessively report on marketing performance in order to optimize programs based on results
  • Team player who works cross-functionally with respect, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones (US and AUS) requiring effective asynchronous communication

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Have successfully led software delivery teams for a multifamily B2B SaaS company with stellar results
  • Have specific experience with asset management, job costing, project management and auditing tools
