Location

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsite. 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The DIY Marketing is part of our Grow and Socialize team. This team enables our customers to discover and leverage GoDaddy marketing services such as posts, ads, SEO, blogs, and marketing planner.

Product Management at GoDaddy is a critical role, with both strategic and operational responsibilities. You’ll work with Engineering, UX, and other internal teams to decide what products and services we build, why they exist, and how they improve our mission.

What you’ll get to do…

  • Help small businesses succeed online by creating incredible marketing tools that are ahead of industry trends including, ads, posts, SEO, blog, planning content, and more.
  • Define a product roadmap and lead all aspects of the project’s successful execution.
  • Work with other internal GoDaddy teams as well as external vendors as needed for the development of the GoDaddy marketing experiences.
  • Ensure that our products are high performing, follow all best practices, and help the entrepreneurs achieve the desired objectives.

Your experience should include…

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a strong working knowledge and understanding of marketing services.
  • Proven experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Slack.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools like Mixpanel, SurveyMonkey, Slack, Tableau, Google Analytics, SharePoint, and Fullstory.
  • Apply the scientific method (experimentation) to make data-driven decisions about approaches to value creation.
  • Understand what it takes to deliver impactful marketing experiences for SMBs that help them grow.
  • Demonstrate an ability to define and prioritize initiatives while working cross-functionally and managing complex stakeholder relationships and dependencies.
  • Successfully collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and customers in an agile environment.
  • Experience establishing direction, goals, expectations, and product plans across teams.
  • Strong business competence – be comfortable defining strategy, identifying and modeling business opportunities, and crafting and executing product roadmaps.
  • Strong engineering aptitude – the ability to learn new technologies and work closely with engineers on technical issues and groom, plan, and refine requirements.
  • Have successfully delivered exceptional products and customer value.
  • Be an evangelist who enjoys passionately sharing customer stories and how products can change customers’ lives.
  • Motivated by solving customer problems, an expert in designing and gathering customer inputs that yield more customer-centric products, services, and experiences.
  • An entrepreneur, who thrives in ambiguity and builds business value by leading a team to always be shipping value to our customers.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work across multiple projects, align on objectives, share constructive feedback, make tough decisions, and prioritize the most impactful deliverables.
