We are looking for a creative, passionate, and experienced Senior Product Manager to join the Freemium Mission – The Spotify’s division that oversees the entire user journey and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way.
With a focus on innovation projects, you will be part of a small, agile, and constantly evolving team, working to identify and implement growth opportunities that meet our ambitious commercial and user experience goals. As a Senior Product Manager on Freemium, you’ll use your eye for business, strong product sense, and unmatched decision making skills to unlock new opportunities to help creators and fans connect in significant ways.
In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team from Design, Engineering, Product Insights, and Program Management to define the roadmap for your area of the product. You will also collaborate with our industry relations teams, consultants, and other experts in the field. From prototyping to development to commercialization, you’ll manage the full lifecycle for product development of powerful new experiences.
What You'll do
- Set the vision and lead the roadmap for your product area
- Prioritize new features based on customer needs, business potential, and technical scalability
- Set and follow metrics that advise us of the success of the products and their impact on Spotify
- Partner with PMs, design, insights, and engineering teams on the design, implementation, delivery and adoption of new experiences—ensuring that the full end to end experience is top notch.
- Ensure your team has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and providing maintenance and support
Who You Are
- You have proven experience working as a product manager in cross-functional teams that have shipped software products at scale
- Experience working on a B2B product and deeply understand the nuances of B2B product management
- Passionate about working in a new, green field, ambiguous space
- You have experience collaborating with a wide range of non-product partners in a matrixed organization, and understand how to influence and inspire teams
- A compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types
- You’re passionate about the opportunity to help creators make a living off of live experiences
- You have a team-first approach and have developed techniques to ensure your teams are happy, motivated and productive
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple offices and timezones
