Primary Responsibilities:
•Build, own and execute on product roadmap for current and future products.
•Work closely with key stakeholders (customer support, customer success, sales, etc.) and/or key customers to understand customer needs and priorities.
•Translate customer and market needs into well-documented, prioritized requirements.
•Own and maintain product backlog. Understand the product vision and strategy and execute on work that supports this vision and strategy.
•Create and build product roadmap.
•Drive product development with R&D partners.
•Complete go-to-market/product launch activities including but not limited to product demos, product training, knowledge base article creation, etc.
•Help sales close deals by responding to RFP’s in a timely manner.
•Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to maintain a deep understanding of who the customer is, how they use the product(s) and their needs.
•Build and track product performance via Data Analytics.
•Leverage data to drive business decisions/business justification/plans for product initiatives.
•Help facilitate beta testing and the results thereof.
•Work on adhoc projects as needed.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of Product Management experience and 5+ years professional work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience with software product management
- Strong requirement gathering and writing skills including requirement elicitation and documenting test criteria, requirement grooming, use cases, user journeys, mock-ups, etc.
- Proficient user of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
- Strategic and tactical mindset. Builds a well thought out product roadmap and executes on the roadmap accordingly.
- Ability to collaborate with PM leadership, other PM’s and R&D on release planning
- Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Results oriented - consistently delivers on commitments, takes initiative, has a bias toward action, takes responsibility, shows individual accountability, has a sense of urgency, makes timely decisions
- Strong facilitation, prioritization, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage work efficiently and effectively
