A fintech product management role at Catawiki is appealing because it blends technology, finance, and innovation to create impactful solutions. It offers opportunities to work on impactful projects like tax scalability, new monetization opportunities, and digital payments, shaping the future of finance. The role is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative, providing continuous learning.
In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of the entire fintech experience across Catawiki where you need to deliver the most scalable fintech solutions for various teams. Collaborating with finance, legal, engineering, design, marketing, and data science teams, you’ll drive the development of the next fintech foundation for Catawiki.
Scalable solutions: Whatever we build in fintech we make sure it is scalable. Whether it is our implementation of tax regulation down to a simple note we need to give to sellers with information they need on a sale
Monetization: The fintech team is uniquely positioned to jump on various P&L opportunities as we as contribute to the latest monetization opportunities in our company
Compliance: A crucial element of any fintech team is compliance. Are we compliant with the latest EU or country regulation? Do the rules change? How do we stay compliant efficiently?
Payments: Having knowledge of payment is a nice plus
Own Metrics and Performance: Take full ownership of personalization metrics, collaborating with teams to iterate and optimize features based on feedback and data insights.
Customer centric: Work closely with design teams to ensure a user-centric approach, creating personalization features that are intuitive, engaging, and enhance the overall user experience. Although not always at the forefront in fintech it certainly should not be forgotten.
Fintech expert: You bring at least 2-3 years of product management experience, with a proven track record in defining product roadmaps for finance, payments, fintech. Talking to our finance department is a natural part of the job for you
Outcome-Driven: You have a bias for action and a results-oriented mindset, with a history of setting and achieving ambitious goals.
Strategic Decision-Maker: Your decision-making is informed by both data and strategic insight, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
Analytical Mind: You have a strong analytical mindset, capable of deriving actionable insights from data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Expertise: You have a deep technical understanding of fintech concepts and applications, and you’ve successfully implemented scalable solutions
Collaborative Innovator: You excel at working alongside machine learning engineers and cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and optimize user-focused personalization features.
This position is located in Amsterdam. If you are currently residing outside of the Netherlands, we have a great relocation package available to assist you.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course, if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remote—such as for certain expert or sales positions—then that arrangement will apply.
