THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Europe Expansion team to oversee the strategic roadmap and vision for the Hopper Europe team.
Despite the challenges of pandemic, Hopper managed to have triple digit year-over-year revenue growth in 2020. In fact, Hopper is recovering faster than the sector at large and that is driven in large part by the performance of our fintech products which offer travelers an unparalleled level of flexibility and control.
You’ll be responsible for for all aspects of the marketplace experience of European users. Prioritization and a strong ability to dive deep will be key as you will be creating and defining a roadmap for the european product team. This can cover projects across many different domains: pricing, selection, app experience, payments, among others. We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to help grow Hopper in the marketplace.
Your key responsibilities will include creating and defining a roadmap for the region and collaborating with other teams to understand best practices and successful initiatives worth localizing. You’ll analyze and leverage data to make informed decisions and improve outcomes. You’ll collaborate with creative, growth, engineering, and product teams.
What your day-to-day would look like:
- Identify the needs and priorities of the region to define the roadmap
- Collaborate with other teams to understand and deep dive on their current initiatives and processes
- Work with engineering in order to deliver the roadmap projects
- Obsess over the customer and constantly audit the user experience to identify opportunities for improvement and/or bugs
- Manage product life cycles, launches, and follow-up releases, including A/B test experimentation
- Understand and be able to distill complex data sets into key findings, actionable insights, and experiment recommendations for future iterations
- Manage dependencies and navigate through potential roadblocks
- Work with engineering team to prioritize and map out execution plans
An ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years of product management experience within a cross-functional team including design, analytics, and development
- Track record of setting clear and measurable goals and driving real business impact
- The ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and the challenge of quickly evolving goals
- Working knowledge of analytical tools, such as Amplitude, Google Analytics, or Tableau
