We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce Product Manager to join our fast-paced team.
As our E-commerce Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing value-driven strategies that will increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the user experience of our e-commerce integrations product. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensuring that all product features meet quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and be familiar with the latest industry trends and consumer behavior. You must also be a strong collaborator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and customers to bring new products and features to market.
You’ll have the opportunity to own an entire product line, and will be reporting to and working alongside Rutter’s CEO, one of the original creators of our product.
You will:
Oversee the full product life cycle (strategy, build, execution, and utilization) for Rutter’s ecommerce products, and be the internal + external subject matter expert on ecommerce workflows, integrations, and API design.
Product planning
Balance deep market research with customer feedback to prioritize and plan for short (sprint), medium (quarterly), and long-term (annual) horizons
Facilitate technical design and problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the product will address a well-understood, well-researched use case
Educate internal + external stakeholders on e-commerce workflows and best practices
Product development
Create product design and specification requirements for the engineering team
Own product quality and build efficiency for our e-commerce integrations
Ensure Rutter’s e-commerce products scale and enable clients to achieve desired outcomes
Product utilization
Deliver prospect and customer demos for e-commerce products
Work closely with Customer Success to shorten time-to-go-live/time-to-value and grow customer utilization across platforms and endpoints
Conduct customer research to inform feature, endpoint, and platform roadmaps
Be the primary point of contact for internal and external questions about our e-commerce products
You have:
3-10 years of product management experience
1+ year of product management experience in the e-commerce industry or a commerce company
A deep understanding of e-commerce workflows
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
Experience working with data-driven insights to inform product decisions
Experience managing a roadmap with multiple products/features, and delivering projects on time and within budget

We're remote-first, with a local office in Lower Manhattan. This position can be hired anywhere in the United States.
Compensation
If performed in New York or San Francisco, the total on-target earnings cash compensation range for this role is $145,103 - $230,506.
Our actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to you, including your skill set, years of experience, and geographic location.
