In the Data & ML Area in PPX, we are data advocates and look across the five Product Areas. - Partner with Engineering Managers in our area to foster a culture of impact and performance in the teams.
- Work passionately to ensure your teams are focusing on the right things, balancing short versus long term needs. A healthy balance of innovation, support and maintenance is key for all successful teams at Spotify.
Who You Are
- You have a long experience with data driven product development and a technical background, either as an engineer or data scientist/analyst or a product manager owning a data platform/product.

- Strong data analytics background and you are comfortable manipulating data with business intelligence tools like Tableau or similar, and writing queries using SQL.
- Ability to champion data literacy within an organization and get buy-in for data initiatives.
- You are a teammate with proven ability to work cross functionally. You get stuff done and help your teams reaching their goals too!
- You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas in different formats.
- You have an ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction.
- Bonus: Understanding of technical architecture, data modeling and schema design.
Where you’ll be
- We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
- Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the EMEA region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
- Working hours? We operate within the Central European and GMT time zones for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone.
- Prefer an office to work from home instead? Not a problem! We have plenty of options for your working preferences. Find more information about our Work From Anywhere options here.
