The Recommendations Experiences team at Credit Karma is building towards automated finance by ensuring AI-driven member experiences that help members to understand their financial standing and make financial progress. You will report to the Director, Product Management - Data. As part of the role, you'll work with multiple Credit Karma businesses to build engaging product solutions and with design, research, engineering, and data science teams to build a content UX system that uses Credit Karma's unique data set and machine learning infrastructure. The product solutions you'll build will be directly used by more than 100 million Credit Karma members.

What you'll do:

  • You will develop vision and product strategy for AI-driven engagement solutions, and work against prioritized roadmap to build engaging member experiences leading towards automated finance
  • You will launch personalized member experiences and create a UX system that uses recommendations systems for personalization, contextualization, and explainability
  • You will collaborate with design, research, engineering, product, and data science to achieve personalized product experiences to our members
  • You will dig into the details of how several businesses within Credit Karma work, collaborate with vertical teams to identify product solutions to promote deeper personalization and engagement, and use machine learning solutions to do so
  • You will work with the analytics teams to define the framework and measure the impact created by your product initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Consumer product management: Shipped multiple consumer-facing engagement-driving products that use machine learning. Preferably, development from zero to one and ran experiments to improve product performance post-launch on a large-scale product
  • Platform product management: Launched data platform products used across the company. Tendency to think about creating a platform offering rather than one off solutions
  • Data-driven decision-making: Use metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, prioritize features and guide next steps
  • Engineering collaboration: Experienced in partnering with engineering teams to build consumer-facing and data utilizing products at scale
  • User empathy: product strategy and roadmap by providing experience on end-to-end-user experience

What we would like to see:

  • MBA or other business background
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of work experience as Product Manager working on consumer products
  • At least 2 years working on recommendations systems
  • Experience working in fintech is a plus
