At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

You’ll work remotely and have the option to work from one of our primary US-based offices (Kirkland, WA, Tempe, AZ, Cambridge, MA, San Francisco or Santa Clara, CA).

GoDaddy is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Data & Analytics team. The right person for this role strives for maximum impact on an organization and its customers and understands how infrastructure can enable multiple teams to be successful. They understand that while scalability and abstraction can be beautiful, they only matter if they can be applied to unlock fantastic user experiences and accelerate team progress.

What you'll get to do...

  • You'll be responsible for developing, justifying, and prioritizing your roadmap with feedback from internal partners and end users, market and competitive analyses, and usage analytics.
  • You will partner with product and business collaborators from internal teams across the company to identify high-value opportunities to use data more effectively to acquire, retain and engage customers.
  • You will then apply your technical and cross-team collaboration skills to understand and prioritize the top use cases that our internal customers have around Data, experimentation, and Machine Learning - focusing on critical end to end scenarios that cut across these platforms.
  • Partner with other product leaders and engineering teams to define a shared roadmap
  • Help to enhance the data, experimentation, and machine learning platforms by finding opportunities to make those platforms more scalable, more feature-rich, and wherever possible used in a self-service fashion.
  • You’ll keep abreast of evolving technologies, inclusive of AWS guidelines and monitor operational cost and look for opportunities to optimize across projects and customers.

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of product management experience; 3+ years technical product management
  • Ability to set vision, defining strategy, and manage a prioritized roadmap
  • Experience designing, running, and analyzing statistical hypothesis tests
  • Experience writing product requirements; building and prioritizing backlogs
  • Background in leading a high-functioning, collaborative team of engineers and data scientists
  • Experience partnering with engineering leaders and evangelizing standard methodologies
  • Experience in customer/partner interaction with the ability to communicate and build a trusted advisor relationship optimally and proactively
  • Experience in software engineering practices (Agile software development, Continuous Value Delivery, CI/CD, Service Oriented Architecture, cloud computing, etc)
  • Experience tracking, understanding, communicating, and acting upon changes in industry trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, inventive, data-driven, and accountable
  • Loves simplicity and a love for technology

  • Experience defining and running controlled experiments, using the results to accelerate learning and data-driven decision making
