ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to build our future content capabilities that power our customer engagement and buying journeys.  You’ll be part of a cross-functional team consisting of marketing, creative/design, content operations, and engineering responsible for building tools and frameworks that enable our global teams to deliver world-class experiences to our members.   

This position will own the discovery, prioritization, and execution of large scale projects that maintain a careful balance between flexibility, speed-to-market, and performance across our entire web ecosystem.  You will work on a fast-paced, cross-functional agile team, collaborating with key stakeholders and other product teams to design and implement solutions that improve our ability to experiment, personalize, and deliver highly engaging experiences, at scale.  

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and track record of delivering platform products that serve multiple customers (both internal and external) and the ability to prioritize tradeoffs between best-in-class design capabilities and opportunities to reduce organizational complexity and ensure future system reusability.     

Responsibilities

  • World Class Collaboration: Build relationships with cross functional partners, stakeholders, and other product team members to understand needs, constraints, and opportunities to drive future success for Peloton’s Ecommerce experience.  
  • Set the Vision: Establish a long term vision, set objectives and key results, and build a roadmap to align your teams and partners to your strategy to maximize value in the content space.   
  • Obsess the Customer Experience: Partner with marketing and design teams to understand key brand and product moments to maximize acquisition, engagement, and conversion opportunities.  
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Develop a deep understanding of current workflow and processes to identify bottlenecks and deliver holistic solutions that improve product quality and overall speed to market.  
  • Deliver Results as a Team: Create an empowered team environment where we’re constantly measuring, learning, and adapting our strategy based feedback from our customers, the market, and larger organizational priorities.   
  • Think Big: Develop relationships outside of your immediate team and discover new opportunities to serve our customers and Peloton through future innovation and/or scale of our Content Platform.  

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of product management experience. Experience working on content/marketing platforms and/or consumer-facing products in DTC e-commerce is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of platform products that serve multiple customers through different interfaces, channels, and global experiences.  
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using data to guide decision making and when there’s no data, find alternative sources to gain insights.
  • Self-starter and proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to focus on a problem at hand while considering the company’s long term strategy.
