Cinder provides a cutting-edge platform to protect the internet. Trust & Safety teams at the world’s most influential companies need powerful solutions that allow them to innovate and adapt as quickly as the threats they face. Companies rely on our software to make policies, moderate, enforce, investigate, and disrupt threats like hate groups, and state-sponsored disinformation campaigns.
This role is based in New York. While we don't have a central office, a lot of the team is in New York and many are remote in the UK, DC, Austin, SF, and more.
We generally believe in the value of frequent in-person meet-ups and learning face to face, which are built into every quarter. We offer competitive compensation, equity, and health, vision & dental benefits, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer matching.
We seek an experienced Senior Product Manager unafraid of rolling up their sleeves to join our team. To work collaboratively across Customer Success, Design, Engineering, and GTM, to help us build an enterprise-grade platform to make the internet safer.
Drive our product roadmap and guide major product decisions and execution.
Translate customer requirements into discrete projects for the engineering team to build. And then help keep everyone on track and on time.
Teach and mentor the team as you help refine the company’s product management rails.
Serve as a nexus between GTM, engineering, design & customer success teams to ensure our roadmaps are on track and appropriately prioritized.
Continuously prioritize the needs of customers and internal stakeholders using evidence-based decision-making, reassessing as needed.
Lead or assist in user research with current & prospective customers, moderation or investigations experts, to craft a consumer-grade experience for our customers.
Minimum of 5 years of software product management experience, with demonstrated wins.
Superb active listening skills.
Experience building and shipping SaaS products, ideally B2B SaaS.

The ability to triage and prioritize at lightning speed—there will be painful tradeoffs.
Inclined to favor reasoned stances, and defend them! We seek pros with opinions. Who are also willing to disagree and commit.
Technically fluent, with years of success communicating with engineering teams.
Experience working for a social media, marketplace, or media company with knowledge of how attackers can abuse these platforms.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. As a remote company, we need to be able to communicate with each other and our customers quickly and clearly!
Experience in a role that requires you to work with external customers is a big plus. If your main PM experience was internally-facing, we still want to hear from you, we’ll just ask extra questions.
You’ve worked with data scientists at some point, or with engineers building ML models who need labeled data. Empathy for and understanding of labeling, annotation, and model training + rehydration is valuable.
Experience working for a social media, marketplace, or media company with knowledge of how those systems can be abused.
