Senior Product Manager at Checkout.com:
Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build our Issuing mobile team. Our passion is to change the world of payments and the team sits at the heart of achieving our ambitious vision and goals.
As a Senior Product Manager you will lead a squad composed of Engineers and SDET (software development engineer in test), supported by DevOps and Program Managers, through all stages of the product life cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration). You will also work closely with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery.
You will act as a bridge between Product, Technology and Clients to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements, and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products. You will synthesise and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications and conduct feasibility studies by analyzing impacts.
About the Team - Issuing
The Issuing Team is responsible for Checkout.com’s issuing products. These products are leveraging a proprietary technology to issue payment cards with the mission to provide innovators with the tools to build disruptive payment solutions. After having built the foundations of the Issuing Core platform,we're now seeking to work on the the cardholder mobile experience and mobile SDK About You:
- 5+ years experience in Product Management, managing end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to release in a mobile context
- Experience with developer product
- You think from the customer perspective, and always map against the desired experience Data driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
- Solid communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions
- Issuing experience
- Proven ability to work with and become a subject matter expert in a complex product
- Worked in an agile environment
- Comfortable with technical concepts and working on complex products
- Fluency in English
What you will be doing:
- Be the core advocate for the team and product
- Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for the team from inception to delivery
- Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers
- Perform competitor analysis to determine industry trends and differentiating factors
- Work with the team in all areas of people development
- Utilise prioritization methodologies to effectively prioritise the roadmap and backlog
- Lead cross-team projects raised by the team and work collaboratively on any other cross-team projects
- Work with an agile mindset
- Determine core stakeholders and communication methods to ensure alignment
