About the role

The Authentication team is at the core of handling secure payments for our merchants: it enables our clients to securely accept transactions anywhere in the world, whilst helping them to stay compliant with local regulations: terms like SCA, 3DS2, and exemptions will be your everyday vocabulary. Being one of the fastest moving companies in payments, staying ahead of the curve is critical.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll have extensive e-commerce knowledge, specifically in building ecommerce products for business. You'll support the team needs to operate at its maximum potential by building a healthy backlog and running discovery work for various initiatives while clearly outlining the ‘What’, ‘Why’ and scope. You'll help shape the team’s roadmap by working closely with the Product Director while interacting with our financial partners and customers. 

About you:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in e-commerce within financial services, ideally in payment service provider (PSP) and/or merchant acquirer
  • You have 5 + years of experience in product management building of e-commerce products for merchants ideally in fraud and/or authentication but not required.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand technical challenges and simplify across various stakeholders
  • Self-started, demonstrated ability to drive outcomes and results.
  • Strong product management knowledge and experience of taking products through all stages of the Product Life Cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration)
  • Experience with leading discovery and writing/maintaining business and functional product requirements.
  • Superb communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders whilst maintaining the right level of expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and consistently meet tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and drive the execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Director
  • Collect, understand, document and convey business requirements for given features
  • Create and maintain a health backlog of features and continuous refine according to prioritisation
  • Produce business and functional product requirements as well as input into technical requirements
  • Develop, optimise, and document business processes as required, especially for launch of new products
  • Conduct day to day management of formal change requests in relation to changes in the product roadmap and business priorities
  • Highlight, report, and manage delivery risks and issues
  • Collaborate across products teams and manage dependencies
  • Coordinating with teams on mandate compliance and keeping up to date with the latest compliance updates
  • Metrics building - ensuring the team are tracking the relevant metrics and actively monitoring them
