🚨 About This Role

AI Journey is a strategic bet for Gorgias, we need a product leader who can act like a founder.

You’ll join a high-impact environment where ownership is deep, expectations are high, and speed is critical. Your job is to build, iterate, and own one of our most strategic AI-powered initiatives.

💼 Working Conditions & Expectations

  • 🗽 This role is based in New York

  • High degree of autonomy and ownership expected, you will execution vision, and cross-functional alignment from end to end.

  • This role is built for a founder-type product builder, someone who thrives in unstructured environments and scales structure as needed.

🎯 What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Success, this role is deeply cross-functional

  • Talk to customers: validate hypotheses, iterate fast based on feedback and build PMF.

💡 Who You Are

  • A founder-style builder who loves ownership, speed, and iteration

  • Strong product instincts with a sharp eye for what matters (and what doesn’t)

  • Comfortable working across business and technical stakeholders

  • Naturally customer-facing you thrive in conversations with users

  • Can balance short-term speed with long-term product thinking

  • You have experienced in working with AI like LLMs, agents, and prompt workflows

🔍 Ideal Profile

  • Experience with DTC, marketing automation, or AI-driven marketing tools

  • Hands-on involvement in early-stage product development or startups

  • Technical curiosity or depth around AI/ML, prompt engineering, or automation

  • Proven ability to ship products quickly and iterate based on signal

  • Comfortable operating without a safety net, and building the playbook as you go
