We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Manager to help develop and scale our audience data, platform and products for advertisers at Spotify. In this role, you will identify and build features that delight advertisers and internal customers while scaling the technical functionality of the back-end platform. You will work with a diverse group of collaborators across Amplify (Spotify Ads R&D), including front and back end engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and product leaders. Your work is critical to the success of ads at Spotify and is one of our highest priority product areas, requiring frequent leadership updates and the ability to navigate ambiguity across cross-functional product areas. 

What You'll Do

  • Define our audiences strategy and roadmap, prioritizing scalable opportunities that utilize Spotify’s own first party data for targeting, insights and measurement while extending the technical functionality of the back-end platform. 
  • Ship audience and targeting features that help drive adoption of our self-serve ads platform by mid-market and enterprise advertisers alike.
  • Work collaboratively with identity, privacy, ad serving, measurement, and ad formats teams to identify and drive opportunities to improve our first-party data collection and usage throughout the advertiser lifecycle. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data science, design, product marketing, as well as other product teams and business partners. 
  • Participate in developing the long-term strategy for our ads business. 
  • Foster a healthy and productive environment within your team through honesty, accountability, empathy and inclusivity. 

Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years of experience driving technical products, and can show the impact of the products you have shipped
  • You have worked on platform-related products with internal and external customers and understand how to build products that scale
  • You have worked with data science, ML engineers and/or have experience building data products
  • You have experience or an interest in advertising products and how they impact business value and user experience
  • You care deeply about the user experience and are familiar with design principles, U/X, quantitative and qualitative research
  • You can synthesize a strategy, build a product roadmap, and are dedicated to executing on your business goals
  • You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams, including partners, and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done
  • You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize
  • You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

The United States base range for this position is $134,481 - $192,115, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process.  Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
