We are TravelPerk: a scaling unicorn valued at $1.3billion that has raised over $400m since our creation in 2015.

Backed by world-class investors with portfolios including AirBnb, Stripe, Slack, Trello, Gusto, Twitter, Farfetch and Deliveroo, our team is made up of A-players from across the travel and technology industries.

We’re revolutionizing the B2B corporate travel market—worth over $1.3 trillion— to connect people in real life in an enjoyable and sustainable way.

TravelPerk are innovators. During the last year we have welcomed and acquired the likes of Click TravelNexTravel and Albatross to the team. From TravelCare, to FlexiPerk and of course GreenPerk we are shaping the future of the industry. Our team continues to emerge stronger and stronger as we adjust to the new normal—and that’s where you come in!

If you’re ready to take off with us, keep reading!

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us continue fixing business travel in some of the industry’s most challenging times. Working in cross-functional squads (small teams of engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer), designers at TravelPerk fully own the end-to-end design process, while also contributing to the wider product functions.

We get on well with designers who are autonomous but still recognize the importance of teamwork and collaboration, who think strategically and can explain themselves clearly, who are creative and problem solvers, and who share our appreciation for on-point GIFs.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead design projects for your squad—from concept to launch, iterations, and beyond
  • Solve product problems by focusing on the best user experience while balancing company goals, design cohesion, and ease of implementation
  • Develop a strong partnership with your Product Manager to gain a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives in your squad’s area
  • Collaborate with our Researcher and Data Analysts to understand and incorporate qualitative and quantitative feedback into the design process
  • Ideate and iterate quickly and effectively with your squad using a “done is better than perfect” mindset
  • Work closely with our Content Designer from the outset to address user needs through language at every stage
  • Test and optimize low–high fidelity prototypes with key stakeholders and customers to validate that we’re solving the right problems
  • Mentor and support fellow designers through design critiques and other feedback sessions
  • Work with and contribute to our Design System—Suitcase

What you’ll need:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Product Designer (working with a SaaS product is an advantage)
  • A good level of English—both spoken and written
  • A solid grasp of User Experience and Visual Design fundamentals
  • Experience working with Figma or Sketch
  • Experience working alongside engineers and Product Managers in autonomous groups
  • An understanding of web and native technologies
  • Previous contribution to and familiarity with Design Systems is a plus
  • A customer-centric mindset—it's at the heart of all of your decisions
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • To be a team player, through and through

We can help with relocation from anywhere in the world, English is the official language at the office. Please submit your resume in English if you choose to apply. Do not forget to submit an updated portfolio.

TravelPerk is a global company with a diverse customer base—and we want to make sure the people behind our product reflect that. We’re an equal opportunity employer, which means you’re welcome at TravelPerk regardless of how you look, where you’re from, or anything else that makes you, well, you.
