Our Design team is focused on solving problems for retail investors and crafting meaningful solutions with a high level of execution. The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer based in London who will help define the future of Shares, craft innovative and delightful experiences for our retail investors while helping shaping and maintaining our design system.

You will ensure our product is valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You’ll own the experience part of a cross functional team and be involved in every aspect of the product development process.

Using your full range of product thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills, you’ll be responsible for understanding people’s needs while investing, shaping features, prototyping creative solutions and polishing every last detail.

The Responsibilities

• Identify people’s needs work closely with teammates to define the right product strategy for your product area
• Craft end-to-end flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that are simple and elegant
• Give and solicit feedback from other designers and cross-functional teammates to continuously raise our bar for quality
• Support our engineering and QA teams to turn designs into flawless implementations therefore user experience
• Support and evolve our design system to increase design productivity and efficiency

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor on a product design team in a consumer focused startup/company
• A portfolio that showcases love for the craft and proficiency in problem solving, interaction design, desktop/mobile user interfaces, prototyping and a strong aesthetic sense
• Experience building products for iOS and Android
• Skilled with Figma and prototyping tools such as Principle, Origami or Framer
• Ability to communicate your ideas to designers, product managers, engineers and leadership through storytelling and presentations if needed
• Passionate about solving problems and innovating while being comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong product and business sensibility

Nice-To-Have

• Experience designing experiences for investment/trading consumer products
• Experience designing messaging experiences
