About the Operations team
Operation work spans across multiple functions: Sales, Underwriting, Inspections and others. Each function brings unique challenges to the table that require creative thinking and collaboration.
You will work closely with product managers and engineers on admin dashboards, internal document and task management systems, highly specialized tools for real estate experts, as well as integrations with customer facing products.
A key part of this role will be collaborating with stakeholders and designers across teams to understand the problems and opportunities of all actors (consumers, agents, admins, etc) and come up with a unified vision to automate internal processes and empower multiple teams within the company.
Responsabilities
- Own the vision for internal tooling with alignment on the company's long-term goals.
- Focus on the problems and the opportunities within the internal teams but not limited to internal products.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define the right problems to solve, solutions and success metrics.
- Own user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services
- Measure and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- IC role that can grow into a manager role as the company grows.
- Inspire the rest of the design team, share your knowledge, and bring new ideas to the table! ?
What we are looking for:
- 6+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI, and related fields with experience working on web experiences and internal tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills.
- A portfolio showing your thoughtful UI and UX work.
- Familiarity with most common design / prototyping tools (i.e Figma, Principle, etc) and an ability to iterate quickly as ideas evolve
- Proven track record of translating customer needs into product features and solutions.
- Experience conducting user research and/or user testing sessions.
- A strong emoji game is not required but strongly encouraged ?
