We seek a Senior Product Designer to join our rapidly growing Payments business line. The team is expanding to support the growth of our Olo Pay product.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will play a critical role in leading the design of innovative new products and features, working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to create industry-leading customer-facing products that drive the growth of our business.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.
What You'll Be Doing
- Led the design of new products and features, from research and concept development to launch, utilizing user-centered design principles.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of our customers.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback effectively.
- Test and validate designs with users, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs as needed to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices, and bring new ideas and techniques to the team to drive innovation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers on the team.
What We'll Expect from You
- 5+ years of experience as a Product and Design Systems Designer.
- Experience designing Payments and POS products.
- 2+ years of experience with Figma, JIRA, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and how they are applied to digital experiences.
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating visual design and research principles that lead to features or new products shipped.
- Passion for user-centered and visual design and understanding how to unite user and business goals.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design or a related field.
