Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Product Designer, Datato join our team!

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in improving the user experience for our customers. Reporting into our Staff Product Designer, your goal is to lead design for our Data Experience team. You’ll collaborate with other designers, product managers, engineers and data scientists and think critically about challenging problems to solve for reporting and analytics in the Greenhouse Recruiting Product. What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the Staff Product Designer, Product Manager, and Engineering Manager, using design thinking to contribute to the vision of the Data Experience team
  • Work closely with Data Engineers regarding questions related to schemas, data architecture, and query capabilities
  • Work with Engineering to plan and ensure the build matches the design
  • Facilitate user research sessions, sprints, and workshops for your team
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes
  • Help create, establish, and reinforce consistent design patterns for our design system, seedling
  • Design software to help reduce bias and increase decision making within the hiring process

You should have

  • 6+ years of product design experience
  • Experience designing complex, data-centric tools (analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools) for B2B SaaS products 
  • Experience working with modular and extensible design systems 
  • Deep knowledge of UX patterns for data interfaces, such as customization, filtering, drill-downs, and comparative data views
  • Experienced in designing for multi-level users, from low data maturity to operations analysts
  • An understanding of complex systems and developer workflows, and experience designing with technical considerations in mind, such as high-volume data, and performance constraints
  • Experience applying data and user research to design decisions
  • Ability to articulate design decisions with design team as well as stakeholders
  • Openness and willingness to receive and incorporate design feedback
  • Proficiency with Figma

The national pay range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
